Cinnamon Sugar Yummieness

I made these this weekend and they are quite possibly the best cookies I have ever tasted.

Cinnamon Sugar Cookies

1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup powdered sugar
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (optional)
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Preheat oven to 350.

In a medium bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar, confectioners' sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy; then add eggs, and beat well. In a large bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and pudding mix. Mix contents of both bowls togethr. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts, if using. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.

Bake in a preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from oven; allow cookies to cool momentarily on baking sheets before removing them to wire racks to cool completely.

I did not use the chocolate chips or the nuts, and probably never will. They are wonderful without them! I also lined my cookie sheets with parchment paper so that the cookies did not stick. They are soft and buttery and wonderful!

Thanks for replying...I am so angry. I cant believe they feel no responsibility. the lemon law states these problems have had to occur within 90 days. Its just hard to believe we paid over 1000 for the warranty and it doesnt cover it.
Ugggh...a minor accident hmmmm....

I understand completely. Unfortunately I deal with the car companies every day and they are not always the nicest people. You would think they would help out the people that are keeping them in a job but I have yet to see that happen.

Mmmmmm these sound tasty! I'm printing this out and adding it to my collection.

Now to find the time to bake them without my two little ones hanging from my legs.... hmmmm. Every time I bake when they're around, I end up screwing something up.

Yummy. I used the base recipe and added chocolate chips and chopped hazelnuts, as they are my fave nut. It tasted like Nutella Spread! It was delicious! I have never made a cookie using powdered sugar instead of granuated sugar. VERY GOOD!!

Oh goodness these sound delicious. I'm so glad my kids can't read this recipe or I may be in trouble. LOL. Seriously big trouble as we are out of brown sugar and maybe even powdered sugar!
