What I learned today

Well I still really do not know anything. They did the colposcopy and had to do 2 biopsies. They said that my entire cervix is "infected." They should have the results of the biopsies back in 2 weeks. Depending on what that says, I may have to have a procedure called a LEEP. They do a local anesthesia and take out the parts that they need too. From what the Dr. said I should be able to still carry a child as long as they do not have to do too many of them. So I guess I get to wait some more! At least I get a 3 day weekend with my DH. Oh and Liz your comment cracked me up when I saw that!

As a retired L&D RN, I've seen many, many women have babies after having the LEEP procedure.

Still sending you warm fuzzies!

This is me pushing Bobbi's word further and further and further up the rope of BS you've been going through so that her word holds more weight than anyone elses and that hopefully things will be just peachy keen and you'll be able to have plenty of babies and fun times and joyful moments. LISTEN TO BOBBI -PUSH- Liiiistennnnnnnn to Bobiiiiiiiii -PUSH- Okay... so maybe I'm just a little hyper. And WHAT?!?!?! I'm not scared to put my phone # on the interwebs but the last person that randomly called me DID in fact get cussed out !

Get some well needed rest. Hang in there. I know two weeks will seem like an eternity, but it will probably go by faster than you think.

A friend had a LEEP and then had a baby. I hope everything works out for you.

Hope things work out for you, Natalie. It sounds like a procedure which you need but which won't hurt you.

Keep us posted.
Prayers,
Betsy
