Hi. My name is Natalie and I am a cold-weather-aholic.
Jessica pointed out to me that I am obsessed with the cold weather, and I think she is right. Maybe because we have never really experienced cold weather before? I really am not sure why, but it seems that since moving here my husband and I both have become a bit ummm obsessive about the weather.
I find myself constantly checking out the weather channel while at work an then looking at wlex18 just to see what the difference in the temperatures are. Everyone knows that the weather channel is always wrong. Right?
My husband lives and breathes the weather channel when he is home. Watching football? Oh lets just check out the weather's score. Two and a half Men? What about that weather? Seriously. He checks it at least once an hour, if not more.
They say the first step is admitting you have a problem, so I thought that I would share my problem here. Anyone else a cold weather-aholic?

I'm obsessed also, Natalie!!!! I lived in Texas for 12 yrs. before moving back to TN.. When I did move back, it took me a long time to get acclimated to cold weather again. You're in KY--and you all always get more snow than we do. BUT today in TN--it is SNOWING. Yeah!!!

i have lived here almost 50 yrs and yes! I check weather all that i can. I dont have cable but i check it o the computer... I hate the cold and snow would be fine if it could be 80 degrees when it happens.
I'm glad you are on taking the first step to recovery. I'm sure you'll be in full recovery come April when we skip spring and move straight into summer. Kentucky weather is always fun! :)
OH, sure. But only because the weather has a big impact on my job.

I probably won't be nearly so obsessed after I retire in the spring. (Yay!)
I hate cold. I hate snow. I had to hike up my driveway this morning. Rofl.

The Weather Channel is addicting. We have DISH now, and you can get on-demand instant reports for your ZIP; great for my addiction. KY weather is like nowhere else, I would dare say.
