I feel special, oh so special

All of the smear ads in this election have really gotten on my nerves these past few weeks. It got to where I did not even want to watch the news, or TV in general, because of all the nasty adds. Whether they were for the Presidential election or the local Lunsford/McConnell election, they just really made me cringe.

After voting this morning though, as I was driving to work, it really made me proud to be able to say I voted in this election. No matter what way you look at it, this election is a part of history. If Obama wins, you have the first African American president. If McCain wins, you will have the first woman VP and possibly president.

So yes I feel special to know that I was a part of this history changing event!
